FREE GUIDE / SYDNEY / FIRST EDITIONA little fresh air.
A very happy co-pilot.
Three places to consider for your next outing with your dog. Pick one, keep the plan simple, and leave time for the sniff stops.
Based on council information checked on 2 November 2026. We haven’t personally inspected these locations. Check the linked council pages, closures and signs before setting out; access rules can change.

- Facilities: Public toilets, shaded seating and a café kiosk are listed.
- Getting there: Council lists car parks on Barwon Park Road, Sydney Park Road, Euston Road and Campbell Street. Check signs for restrictions and charges; spaces aren’t guaranteed.

02 / A HARBOUR WANDER
Rushcutters Bay Park — Woollahra side
A foreshore walk with harbour views. Start with a relaxed on-lead wander and a bench stop.
- Dog access: Woollahra lists on-lead access at all times, with off-leash access from 3:30pm to 10:30am except during organised sport. Follow local signs and keep clear of dog-exclusion areas.
- Facilities: Public toilets, benches and a kiosk are listed.
- Getting there: Time-limited parking on surrounding streets; check charges and restrictions.
- Know the boundary: The park is split between Woollahra and City of Sydney. These details refer to the Woollahra side, not a blanket rule for the whole park.
